Tufted Moss Dragons live in forests, and if one is lucky enough, gardens through out the world. These small insectivores are not easy to spot but are easily identified by their deep green color and distinctive crest scales. 

It took me quite a while to find the illusive Blue Maned Forest Dragon but with a little food bribery this magnificent creature allowed me to sit and paint him as he rested in a tree. It is obvious where this creature gets his name from and his mane is a glorious sight but his delicate leaf like scales are also quite beautiful.
